Canva vs Loomly for Real Estate Agents (2026): Which One Earns Its Subscription?
Canva Pro is US$144 a year for one person and now schedules social posts to up to 80 accounts. Loomly's cheapest plan is $588 a year for 12 accounts and 3 users. Both figures were read off the vendors' own pricing pages in October 2026 — with the per-agent maths and the four jobs Loomly still does that Canva cannot.

Short answer: for a solo real estate agent, pay for Canva Pro and skip Loomly. Canva Pro costs US$144 a year for one person and its Content Planner now schedules posts to up to 80 connected accounts, so the design tool and the scheduler come in one subscription. Loomly’s cheapest plan is $588 a year for 12 accounts and 3 users — four times the price — and it cannot design anything at all.
Loomly still wins in four specific cases, and they are worth naming before the price comparison takes over: you post to TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Threads, Snapchat, or Bluesky; you need one calendar entry to publish to several channels at once; you want an engagement inbox that answers comments and DMs; or you run a team that needs approval workflows and custom roles. Canva does none of those four.
Every figure below was read off the vendor’s own pricing page on 13 October 2026 and is dated so you can see how stale it is.

Canva Pro — design plus a scheduler most agents never open
- Best for
- Agents who need listing visuals and basic social scheduling from one subscription
- Pricing
- Free tier; Pro US$144/year for one person, Business US$250/year per person (verified Oct 2026)
Canva is the default design tool for real estate because the templates already look competent — just-listed posts, open-house flyers, listing presentations, price-drop graphics — and the Brand Kit keeps a logo, colour palette, and fonts consistent across all of them without a designer. On the US pricing page, Pro is US$144 a year for one person and Business is US$250 a year per person; the page defaults to annual billing and prints “Prices exclude applicable tax.”
The part that changes this comparison is that Pro now includes a scheduler. Canva’s help centre states that scheduling is available on Canva Pro, Canva Business, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits, and that on Pro, Business, and Enterprise each user can connect up to 80 social media accounts per team. Free accounts are limited to one account per platform. The supported networks are Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Slack, and Tumblr.
Two limits are worth knowing before you cancel anything else. First, a design can only be scheduled to one platform at a time, so the same just-listed graphic going to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn is three separate scheduled posts rather than one. Second, Instagram scheduling has to be done from a desktop browser, and Canva’s help page notes that publishing to the Content Planner is not available in multi-design documents yet. Neither is fatal for a solo agent posting a handful of times a week; both are the reason a team eventually outgrows it.
Above Pro, Business adds the team layer: 100 Brand Kits with approvals, 500GB of storage, 20× the free AI allowance, and Flourish access, at US$250 a year per person. If you are pricing seats for a small team, that per-person structure is the number to compare against Loomly’s flat 3-user Starter tier.
Strengths
- Design and scheduling in one subscription — no second tool needed for the basics
- Pro is US$144 a year for one person, the equivalent of US$12 a month
- Up to 80 connected social accounts per user on Pro, Business, and Enterprise
- A permanent free tier with 1 Brand Kit, 5GB of storage, and 20 AI uses
- Brand Kit keeps logos, colours, and fonts consistent across every listing asset
- Canva for Education is free for K-12 organisations and nonprofits get most premium features free
Trade-offs
- A design can only be scheduled to one platform at a time — cross-posting is manual repetition
- No TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Threads, Snapchat, or Bluesky scheduling
- No approval workflows, engagement inbox, or social listening at any price
- Instagram scheduling is desktop-browser only
- Prices are shown in local currency, so the US-dollar figures above only apply on Canva’s US page
- Business pricing is per person, so team costs scale linearly
Loomly — the dedicated social platform, priced for teams
Loomly does one job and does it more completely than Canva: it runs a social calendar. On its pricing page, Starter is $65 a month billed monthly or $49 a month billed yearly — $588 a year — and includes 12 social accounts, 3 users, unlimited calendars, approval workflows with roles, advanced analytics, and link shorteners. Beyond is $332 a month, or $249 a month billed yearly at $2,988 a year, and raises the ceiling to 60 accounts, unlimited users, custom branding, custom roles and workflows, a hashtag manager, and calendar-level two-factor enforcement. Above that, Enterprise is 61+ accounts at custom pricing. The page advertises a 25% saving for paying yearly, and a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
The feature list is where the money goes. Loomly publishes one post to several channels from a single calendar entry, which is the workflow Canva’s one-platform-per-design rule cannot do. It has an engagement inbox with saved replies and AI-drafted responses, so comments and DMs are answered from the same place the posts are scheduled. It tracks social listening, capped at 2 items a month on Starter and 5 on Beyond. And its AI usage is explicitly tiered — “Limited monthly usage” on Starter against “Extended monthly usage” on Beyond — rather than an all-you-can-use promise.
Channel support is the other argument. Loomly’s help centre lists Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Threads, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Bluesky, plus a Custom Channel and Zapier. For an agent, Google Business Profile is the one that stings, because it is the channel a local listing search actually surfaces — and Canva’s Content Planner cannot post to it. TikTok is the second: Canva cannot schedule a listing tour there at all.
Two caveats. Loomly’s pricing page lists “Export from Canva” as an included feature, and its 2025 plan update describes an improved Canva integration that imports designs straight from Post Builder — so the two tools are designed to sit together, not replace each other. And that same update page is blunt about legacy plans: accounts cannot be reverted to previous pricing models and custom discounts are not offered, so the price you sign up at is the price you keep. If you cancel, calendars drop to view-only at the end of the billing cycle.
The maths that actually decides it
Per-tool pricing flatters whoever has the cheaper entry tier. Cost against the job you actually need done is what settles it.
A solo agent, one listing a week, Facebook + Instagram + LinkedIn
- Canva Pro: US$144/year. Design and scheduling both covered. Cross-posting to three networks means scheduling the same design three times.
- Loomly Starter: $588/year. Better publishing workflow, but you still need a design tool — so add Canva Pro at US$144 and you are at $732/year.
- Winner: Canva Pro, by $588 a year.
A solo agent who posts to TikTok and Google Business Profile
- Canva Pro: US$144/year, plus you are posting to those two channels by hand from each app.
- Loomly Starter: $588/year, plus Canva Pro at US$144 for the actual design work — $732/year.
- Winner: Loomly, but only if those two channels are genuinely producing leads. If you post to TikTok twice a month, you are paying $588 a year to save twenty minutes.
A three-person team that needs sign-off before publishing
- Canva Business: 3 seats × US$250 = US$750/year. No approval workflows, so sign-off happens over text message.
- Loomly Starter: $588/year for 3 users, with approval workflows and custom roles built in — but no design tool, so add one Canva Pro seat at US$144 for $732/year total.
- Winner: Loomly, on both price and fit. This is the scenario it was built for.
A brokerage running 20 agents and a shared content calendar
- Canva Business: 20 seats × US$250 = US$5,000/year.
- Loomly Beyond: $2,988/year for 60 accounts and unlimited users.
- Winner: Loomly, and it is not close — per-seat pricing is the wrong shape for a brokerage, which is exactly why Beyond drops the user limit entirely.
The pattern across those four scenarios is simple. Loomly’s flat 3-user Starter tier beats per-seat Canva Business pricing as soon as a team has three people. For one agent, Canva Pro is four times cheaper and covers both jobs.
Where each one breaks
Canva breaks on the multi-channel post. One design, one platform. An agent posting the same graphic to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest has four scheduled posts to build and four captions to write, every time. At any real volume that becomes the reason to pay for something else.
Canva also breaks on Google Business Profile and TikTok. Those two are missing from the Content Planner’s supported list, and for a local business they are not optional channels. If your listing tours go to TikTok and your reviews live on Google, you are using two apps manually.
Loomly breaks on design. It cannot create a flyer, a just-listed graphic, or a listing presentation. Its own pricing page sells “Export from Canva” as a feature, which is an admission that the design step happens somewhere else. An agent who buys Loomly alone still needs a design tool, and the cheapest credible one is the Canva Pro subscription they were trying to avoid.
Loomly also breaks on price discipline for light users. There is no free tier, only a 7-day trial, and the 2025 plan update page confirms Loomly will not revert accounts to older pricing or offer custom discounts. An agent who posts twice a month is paying $588 a year for a calendar, and the trial is the only way to find out whether that is worth it before committing.
How to choose
- Solo agent, under ten posts a month, big-four networks only → Canva Pro at US$144 a year. It is the cheaper tool and it does both jobs. The best AI tools for real estate agents pillar covers the rest of a solo stack at this price point.
- Solo agent who posts to TikTok or Google Business Profile regularly → Loomly Starter, keeping Canva Pro for design. Budget $732 a year for the pair and check that those two channels are producing leads before renewing.
- Team of three or more with a sign-off process → Loomly Starter. Three users, approval workflows, and custom roles for $588 a year beats three Canva Business seats at US$750 with no approval layer.
- Brokerage with many agents on one calendar → Loomly Beyond at $2,988 a year. Unlimited users and 60 accounts, against per-seat pricing that would run into five figures.
- Already paying for Canva and wondering about Loomly → check one thing first: open the Content Planner and count how many of your posts this month needed a network it cannot reach. If the answer is none, you are paying for a feature you will not use.
- Nobody posting video yet → stay on Canva, and read our best AI video tools for real estate comparison before adding a video tool on top of a scheduler.
For the writing side of the same workflow, the AI email marketing for real estate comparison prices the platforms that keep a sphere list warm, and if budget is the constraint, the best free AI tools for real estate agents covers what you can run at $0 before paying for either of these.
The bottom line
For one real estate agent, Canva Pro wins: US$144 a year for one person buys the design tool and a scheduler that reaches up to 80 connected accounts, against Loomly Starter at $588 a year for 12 accounts and 3 users with no design capability at all. Loomly earns its price in four specific cases — TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profile scheduling; multi-channel publishing from one calendar entry; an engagement inbox; and team approval workflows — and three of those four only matter once there is a team. Read both pricing pages yourself before you commit, because Loomly will not honour older pricing and Canva’s numbers change with the currency your browser reports.

Frequently asked questions
Is Canva or Loomly cheaper for a real estate agent?
Canva, by a wide margin. Canva Pro is US$144 a year for one person, which works out to US$12 a month. Loomly's cheapest plan is $49 a month billed yearly, or $588 a year, and its monthly billing rate is $65. That is roughly four times Canva Pro at the yearly rate. Canva Business is US$250 a year per person, so even two Business seats cost less than one Loomly Starter subscription.
Can Canva Pro really schedule social media posts?
Yes. Canva's own help centre lists scheduling as available on Canva Pro, Canva Business, Canva Education, and Canva for Nonprofits, and says each user on Pro, Business, or Enterprise can connect up to 80 social accounts per team. Free accounts can link one account per platform. The catch is that a design can only be scheduled to one platform at a time, so cross-posting the same image to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn means three separate scheduled posts.
What does Loomly do that Canva cannot?
Four things that matter to a working agent. Loomly schedules to Google Business Profile, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram Threads, and Bluesky, none of which Canva's Content Planner supports. It publishes one post to several channels from a single calendar entry. It has an engagement inbox with saved replies and AI-drafted responses. And it has approval workflows with custom roles, which is what a team actually buys it for. Canva has none of these.
Do I need both Canva and Loomly?
For a solo agent, no — pick Canva Pro. The design work has to happen somewhere, Canva does it, and its scheduler is good enough for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Add Loomly only when one of the four gaps above is actually costing you something: you post to TikTok or Google Business Profile, you run a team that needs approvals, or you need one calendar entry to hit five channels at once.
Which social platforms can each one post to?
Canva's Content Planner supports Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Slack, and Tumblr. Loomly's help centre lists Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Threads, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Bluesky, plus a Custom Channel and Zapier. Loomly's list is longer, and it includes the two channels real estate agents use most outside the big four: Google Business Profile for local search and TikTok for listing tours.
Does Loomly have a free plan?
No. Loomly offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, then the cheapest paid tier is Starter at $65 a month on monthly billing or $49 a month billed yearly. Canva has a permanent free tier that includes 1 Brand Kit, 5GB of storage, and up to 20 Standard or Premium AI uses, so a new agent can run Canva at $0 indefinitely and only pay when a specific feature blocks them.
